The Devaswom Board has filed a petition (as Petition No. 45 of 2016) for approval of the work in constructing a shop building at Pathiyoor Devaswom in Harippad Group at an estimated cost of Rs.14,56,000/-. It is stated that the Board is not proposing to proceed with the construction of the shopping complex in view of the subsequent developments and in the said circumstances, it has been brought to the notice of the learned Ombudsman as well, that the above petition is not being pressed and that the same could be dismissed as withdrawn. that, Report bearing No. 40/2017 dated 01.06.2017 has been submitted by the learned Ombudsman.
