This Contempt of Court Case has been filed by the

petitioner alleging that the interim order dated 19.05.2017 issued by this Court has not been complied with.

The effect of the interim order issued by me on 19.05.2017 was that the respondents include the additional batch of commerce in the petitioner's school, sanctioned as per a Government Order, in the list of subjects for online application to Plus One course for the academic year 2017-18.

When the matter was taken up today, Sri. T.T.Mahamood, the learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that the Government has issued an order No.G.O.(Rt) No.1694/2017/G.Edn. dated 01.06.2017, wherein the additional subject in the petitioner's school has been permitted to be included for online

application for admission for the academic year 201718. He however says that pursuant to this order the Director has not yet included the additional subject in the online course.

The learned Government Pleader appearing on

behalf of the respondents submits that necessary action by the Director to do so will be taken today itself. In such circumstances, I do not see any reason to keep this Contempt of Court Case pending since I notice that the directions have been complied with.

I therefore close this Contempt of Court Case

recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader as above.
