This contempt case is filed by the petitioner complaining that the directives contained in judgment 7.10.2016 is not complied with. Today when the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader submitted that as per the directions issued, a decision was taken on 22.12.2016, adverse to the interest of the petitioner. In view of the development that has taken place pursuant to the directions, I do not find any reason to pursue the contempt case any further. Therefore, contempt case is closed, leaving open the liberty of the petitioner to pursue any action pursuant to the order passed on 22.12.2016
