When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that seeking quashment of the proceedings in Crime No.806/2016 of Perinthalmanna Police Station, the petitioner herein has approached this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and has preferred Crl.M.C.No.3221/2017. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already obtained an interim order of stay as well. In that view of the matter, there cannot be any apprehension. Without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to approach this Court at a later stage, this application will stand disposed of.
