ingress and egress to the Bank and caused difficulty to the customers, distributing defamatory notices and disrupted the work of the bank; (ii) on 07.07.1993, the workman along with other 300 people, under the guise of inaugurating a vehicle jadha, blocked the entrance of the Bank, shouting slogans against the management and exhorting the public for the withdrawal of deposits and closing gold loans with the bank saying that the bank was in financial difficulty which caused heavy loss to the Bank and disrupted the regular functioning of the Bank (iii) the workman along with others destroyed the locks of the Head Office of the Bank and (iv) the workman was causing serious damage to the reputation and goodwill of the Bank as well as spreading malicious and false propaganda against the management. The inquiry officer found that all the charges except the 3rd charge were proved. A police complaint was also seen filed in respect of the incident. The Labour Court found that the findings of the inquiry officer Adv. Shri Jacob Mathew was based on evidence.
