J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this court aggrieved by a notice issued under Section 34 of the Kerala Revenue Recovery Act, 1968 to recover dues under the Toddy Workers' Welfare Fund. The only request made by the petitioner is that he may be given sufficient time to discharge the liability. Having considered the request as above, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

The petitioner shall be given six instalments facility to discharge the entire liability starting from 20.1.2017 and followed by 20^th of every month. Coercive steps shall be deferred in tune with the above. If the petitioner commits default in payment of instalments consecutively for two months, the instalment facility shall be revoked and the respondents are at liberty to proceed against the petitioner in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
