JUDGMENT
The writ petition was filed for a direction to the respondent to revise Ext.P9 short list for appointment to the post of Last Grade Servants under the IHRD, by including candidates who have secured the cut off mark of 20 in the case of general candidates, 15 for OBC and 10 for SC/ST in the written test, as prescribed in Ext.P3 recruitment rules and for a direction to the respondent not to consider the applications of candidates with higher qualification for appointment as Last Grade Servants. This court had passed an interim order directing that the petitioner shall also be interviewed provisionally, as in the case of the petitioners in WP(C) No.35/10.
thus stated that there was no upper limit for the educational qualification to be possessed by the candidate.

In the above circumstances, I do not find it necessary to go into the merits of the writ petition at this stage. Moreover the candidates appointed are not impleaded. On that ground also the writ petition fails and hence dismissed.
