The prayer in this Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondents to receive land tax from the petitioner on the strength of Exts.P1 and P2 documents.

It is submitted by the learned Government Pleader

that tax can be received from the petitioner on production of the originals of the documents or copies thereof which are acceptable in accordance with law.

In the above circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 2^nd respondent to take action on the request of the petitioner for receipt of basic tax in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
