JUDGMENT

The petitioner approached this Court on account of refusal to

accept basic tax the property having an extent of 13 cents comprised in

¶36

Survey No.148/10 of Niramaruhur Village.

¶37

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits

¶38

that the revenue officials have doubt whether the pond near to the petitioner’s land would form part of his land or not.

This Court is of the view that the Tahsildar shall identify and

¶40

demarcate the land belongs to the petitioner based on the title deed after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as all affected persons. Needful shall be done within three months. Thereupon, the Tahsildar shall accept the basic tax in respect of the land identified as the land

belongs to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
