J U D G M E N T
1.This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of
the Constitution of India seeking the
following reliefs:
“(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writs, orders or directions directing the 1st respondent to entrust the investigation in Crime No.100/2016 of the Kuttipuram Police Station to a superior police officer and supervise the same.
(ii)Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writs, orders or directions directing the 1st respondent to take appropriate action on the petition evidenced by Ext.P4 that was filed against the improper investigation, as expeditiously as possible.”
2.Grievance projected in this petition is that the
investigation being presently carried on by the 2nd
respondent in Crime No 100 / 2016 registered at
his instance is tardy and is not proceeding in a

free and fair manner . His representation before the 1st respondent highlighting his grievance was not considered and prays that necessary directions be issued to hand over the investigation to a superior officer.
3.The learned Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that the investigation has
been handed over to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Malappuram on the strength of the representation submitted by the petitioner.
4.In view of the above , there cannot be any subsisting grievance for the petitioner.
The writ petition is closed.
