This OP(DRT) is filed seeking a direction to the Debt Recovery Tribunal to pass final orders in SA No.66 of 2006 pending before it, expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner. When the matter came up for admission, I had called for a report from the Debt Recovery Tribunal as to the time required for passing final orders in SA No.66 of 2006. By a report dated 22.03.2016, the Presiding Officer of the Debt Recovery Tribunal has intimated that SA can be disposed of within a time frame of six months. Taking note of the said report of the Presiding Officer, Debt Recovery Tribunal, I dispose the OP(DRT) with a direction to the Debt Recovery Tribunal, to pass final orders in SA No.66 of 2006 on or before 30^th September, 2016.
