under that head considering the fact that the accident occurred at Kallayi and the appellant was taken to P.V.S Hospital, Calicut. In other words, the appellant is entitled to get an amount of 750/- more under₹ that head. The appellant was aged 19 years and he remained as an inpatient for seven days. Towards extra nourishment though he claimed 5,000/- only an amount of 1,000/- was granted. We are of₹ ₹ the view that he is entitled to get 1,000/- more under that head.₹ Towards bystander's expenses though an amount of 3,000/- was₹ claimed only an amount of 700/- was granted. We are of the view₹ that instead of 100/- bystander's expenses ought to have given at the₹ rate of 250/- per day. In such circumstances, the appellant is entitled₹ to get an amount of 1,050/- more. Towards pain and suffering,₹ though an amount of 1,00,000/- was claimed the Tribunal awarded₹ only 13,000/-. Ext.A2 is the wound certificate which would reveal₹ that he sustained a blunt injury on the abdomen and omental tear near the gastro duodenal junction. It would also reveal that there was tenderness over upper abdomen and adhesive intestinal obstruction. Going by the wound certificate, he was feeling severe pain on (Rt) lower chest and upper abdomen and he was also having supra pubic pain and difficulty in passing urine.
