When the matter was taken up for consideration today, Sri.M.Sasindarn, learned Standing Counsel for the Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation appearing on the respondent has submitted on the basis of instructions of that Corporation that the petitioner herein (Smt.Siji Paliy, daily wage employee), whose service was discontinued from 16.8.2016, has been ordered to be engaged as daily wage staff from the forenoon of 5.9.2016 due to the pending works in that office. Sri.M.Sasindran, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation further submits that so long as work is available to accommodate the requirement of the petitioner, then certainly the respondent Corporation will continue to engage the petitioner as a daily wage employee during the currency of the interim order. In view of the abovesaid submissions, this Court is of the considered view that there is no necessity to keep the Contempt of Court Case pending and the same stands accordingly closed.
