If the petitioner surrenders before the Investigating Officer as directed above, the Investigating Officer shall, after interrogation, produce the petitioner before the jurisdictional Magistrate. If the petitioner files any application for bail before the jurisdictional Magistrate at the time of his production before the learned Magistrate, the learned Magistrate shall consider and dispose of the application for bail, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
