The petitioner is the 2^nd accused is Crime No.162/2015 of Ponnani Excise Range Office for offences punishable under Section 58 of the Kerala Abkari Act.

The prosecution allegation is that, on 17.12.2015, at about 2.10 a.m., the accused was intercepted with 50 bottles of 500 ml each of Indian Made Foreign Liquor in a vehicle. He was arrested and is in custody since then. He seeks bail.

Heard and examined the records.

The learned Public Prosecutor on instructions

submitted that the petitioner is not involved in any other case. Hence I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner on the following conditions:

bail on he executing a bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court.
