J U D G M E N T
The petitioner, who is an aged citizen, has come up before this Court alleging that though the respondents took a decision to assign some land to the petitioner in the year 1996, there was no progress in the file proceedings for the assignment even after elapse of 16 years.

been in possession and enjoyment of the aforesaid property. She further alleges that as there was no progress in Ext.P1 file proceedings, representations dated 03.05.2002 and 10.01.2012 were submitted by her as evidenced by Exts.P3 and P4. However, no action was taken on the representations.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on Exts.P3 and P4 representations within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.
