O R D E R

The petitioners herein are the accused Nos.1 to 4 in Crime No. 985/2014 of the Anchalummoodu Police Station, registered under Sections 13 and 17 of the Kerala Money Lenders Act. The 5^th accused in the crime died pending investigation. The petitioners seek orders quashing the proceeding on the ground of amicable settlement of the dispute. Now, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that during investigation the police found that the allegation against the petitioners is baseless, and that final report referring the crime is being prepared by the police. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that the final report will be submitted in court without any delay. In such a situation this Crl.M.C. need not proceed. If the petitioners are, in any manner, aggrieved by the final report, they can bring proper proceeding in such a situation.

In the result, the submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor is recorded, and the Crl.M.C. is closed.
