Petitioner is the 1^st accused in C.C. No.21 of

2013 on the file of the Court of Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Thrissur. The allegation is that while the petitioner was working as a Shop Manager in a Maveli store, Athirappally over a period from 20.07.2009 to 27.05.2010, he has misappropriated money and thereby committed the offences punishable under Secs.13 (1)(c) and (d) read with Sec.13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Secs.409, 420 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard both sides.

The final report in this case has already been filed. The petitioner is an absconding accused as per the records as he is the accused in L.P. No.1 of 2014.

Considering the nature of allegations and the

fact that the petitioner did not appear before the Court so

far, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to get anticipatory bail in this case, especially noticing the fact that he is involved in offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Hence the bail application is dismissed.
