JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who was a Senior Accountant working in the Thenmala Branch of the second respondent bank, has approached this Court aggrieved by the transfer orders. According to the petitioner, he has been transferred five times during a period of two years immediately before the filing of the petition.

The petitioner alleges that he has aged parents who require frequent hospitalisation and his presence is required as his only brother is working abroad.

Today when the matter came up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was retained by the respondents as Senior

Accountant in the Thenmala branch on the basis of

the interim order already passed by this Court on 27.2.2012. It was submitted by both sides that the normal period of three years when the transfer become due would be completed on 31.10.2014.

Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to enjoy the benefit of the interim order already passed till the expiry of the aforesaid period.
