JUDGMENT

The motorbike driven by the petitioner hit an old lady on 11.10.2011 and a crime has been registered against him by the 2^nd respondent under Sections 279 and 304 A I.P.C as Crime No.1121 of 2011. Consequently, his driving licence was seized.

This Court by interim order dated 8.2.2012 directed the release of the driving licence to the petitioner subject to the further orders to be passed by this Court.

As a crime has been registered against the petitioner and the same is pending, this Court is of the definite view that the release of the driving licence to the petitioner shall be subject to the final outcome of the C.C. arising out of Crime No.1121 of 2011 registered by the 2^nd respondent.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
