The petitioners have approached this Court with the
following prayers:
“i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the respondents to maintain the ratio of 7:3 between the promotees and direct recruits while making any appointment to the post of Draftsman Grade I and
ii) grant such other reliefs that this Honourable Court may deem fit and necessary in the interest of justice.”
