JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is a 9th standard student of S.N.Higher Secondary
School, Parur was a contestant in 'Mohiniyattom' in the Parur Sub District Youth Festival. It is stated that in the course of dance performance, there was power failure, by virtue of which the dance came to be disrupted in the middle. Taking note of the factual position, the authorities permitted the petitioner to perform again. But the petitioner was awarded only 'third prize with A Grade', which was not correct and there is improper appreciation and analysis of the credentials of the petitioner and hence an appeal was preferred before the competent authority. After considering the appeal, the same was rejected as per Ext.P1 order, which according to the petitioner is per se wrong and unsustainable in all respects and hence the writ petition.

District Level Youth Festival contending that the petitioner has obtained several awards and that she has already obtained first place in 'Kuchupudi' as well as in 'Bharatanatyam' with A Grade.
This Court does not find any tenable ground to interfere. The writ petition is dismissed accordingly.
