Respondent present. According to the counsel for the respondent, the action initiated by the respondent pursuant to the direction issued by this Court in W.P.(C).No.16681 of 2013 has been challenged by the affected party, one Sri.Karuppan, before the Tribunal for Local Self Government Institutions, Thiruvananthapuram by filing appeal No.682/14. As per order dated 13.06.2014, the order passed by the respondent has been stayed. A copy of the order has been handed over to me across the Bar. I notice that the petitioner is the 2nd respondent in the said appeal.
In view of the above, I do not find any grounds to proceed with this Contempt case further. The same is therefore closed.
