JUDGMENT

The petitioner is eager and willing to discharge the

liability due to the first respondent bank by availing the benefit of the one time settlement scheme. The bank submits that a deduction of 5% of the total dues can be granted to the petitioner under the one time settlement scheme in vogue. It is pointed out that the petitioner would be liable to pay Rs.15,56,121/- in addition to the litigation expenses under the circumstances.

The petitioner is free to move the first respondent bank to decide the mode of payment and the period within which the liability has to be discharged. The recovery proceeding as against the petitioner is put on hold for a period of one month to enable the petitioner to work out her remedy as above.

The writ petition is disposed of.
