We have reason to think that this writ petition, in which, Ext.P2 order directing the writ petitioner to undergo simple imprisonment for 12 months for non-payment of maintenance amount to the respondents, is under challenge, has become infructuous. It is seen from the judgment in W.P.(C)No.14287/2007, a writ petition filed by the next friend of the writ petitioner, that the writ petitioner has been released from jail.
We, therefore, dispose of this writ petition without issuing further orders in t his writ petition.
