JUDGMENT
The petitioner is the Manager of A.K.M.Higher Secondary School, Kottoor in Malappuram District. This writ petition has been filed mainly the prayer to issue a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to approve the appointment of the teachers effected as per Exts.P8 and P9 from the original dates of their appointment. Obviously, the teachers who were given appointments as per Exts.P8 and P9 had earlier approached this Court by filing W.P.(C) No.8659 of 2013. That writ petition was disposed of as per Ext.P10 judgment by this Court directing the 1st respondent therein, the Regional Deputy Director, Higher Secondary Education, Kozhikode to consider and pass appropriate orders on Exts.P4(a) to P4(k), referred as such in the said writ petition viz., Exts.P8 and P9 herein, expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that judgment. When this matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Pleader submitted that the time stipulated by this Court in Ext.P10 was subsequently extended as per order in I.A.No.13095 of 2013 moved by the respondents in W.P.(C)No.8659 of 2013. Evidently this Court passed an order in the said interlocutory application on 05.10.2013

extending the period stipulated for complying with the directions in Ext.P10 judgment by two months from 05.10.2013. In the light of the judgment in Ext.P10 and the order in the said interlocutory application evidently the respondents are bound to comply with the directions in Ext.P10 judgment and to take a decision on Exts.P8 and P9 within two months from 05.10.2013. In the said circumstances and in view of the said position obtained as per Ext.P10 judgment and the order in I.A.No.13095 of 2013 no further orders are called for in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed.
