The prayer in this O.P.(FC) is to direct the Family Court, Chavara for an expeditious disposal of O.P.Nos.142/2013, 148/2013, 890/2013, 1000/2013 and M.C.No.1/2013.

“May I submit that OP 142/2013 (OP 1503/2010 of Family Court, Kollam) was filed by the wife for recovery of money towards gold ornaments, maintenance and for price of valuables entrusted to the husband. The case transferred to this court as per order dated 06.04.2013 while it was posted for objections. OP 148/2013 (OP 1375/2011 of Family Court, Kollam) and it was transferred to this court while it was posted for evidence. OP 890/2013 (OP 1112/2012 of Family Court, Ernakulam) was filed by the husband for divorce and it was transferred to this court on 22.04.2013 pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble High Court in Tr.PC 324/2012 dated 03.04.2013 while it was pending for stay report. OP 1000/2013 (OP 1005/2012 of Family Court, Kollam) filed by the husband for recovery of

money and it was transferred to this court as per order dated 16.05.2013, while it was pending for appearance of parties. MC 1/2013 (MC 20/2011 of Family Court, Kollam) for maintenance filed by the wife was restored to file as per order Crl. MP 87/2013 and Crl. MP 882013 dated 03.10.2013 of this court and is posted to 02.12.2013 for evidence in the last chance. The Original Petitions sent for mediation and posted to 07.12.2013. The respondent did not file objections in OP 890/2013 and OP 1000/2013. May I submit that I may be given a period of one month to dispose of MC 1/2013 and a period of three months to dispose of the Original Petitions.”
Since the Family Court itself has undertaken to dispose of the cases expeditiously , we record the statement to that effect and close the O.P.(FC) on that basis.
