period of treatment instead of Rs.3,000/- awarded by the Tribunal. Considering the nature of injuries sustained and treatment undergone, we feel that the amount of Rs.12,000/awarded by the Tribunal under the head 'pain and sufferings' is also on the lower side and we enhance the same Rs.20,000/-. The Tribunal has awarded Rs.3,000/- under the head 'disfiguration due to scar'. No other amount was awarded under the head 'loss of amenities in life' and other incidental inconvenience that may likely to cause on account of injuries sustained by him. Considering the fact that there is visible scar on his face and he was aged only 22 years, we feel that the amount awarded under the head 'disfiguration due to scar' is on the lower side and he may have some impact on account of the head injuries sustained by him in his personal life as well. Considering these aspects, though, there is no disability as such proved, an amount of Rs.15,000/- can be awarded under the head 'loss of inconvenience' and 'loss of amenities in life' instead of Rs.3,000/- awarded by the Tribunal under the head 'disfiguration due to the scar'.
