The Learned Ombudsman has filed TDB Report No.175 of 2013 in Petition No.89 of 2013, in which sanction is sought for the work relating to the reconstruction of Valiyambalam, Balikkalppura and Thidappally at Sreekrishna Swamy Temple, Kureekkad. Earlier, this Court had granted permission to the Temple Renovation Committee to execute the work with 90% contribution. It was not executed as the estimate was fixed based on 2010 schedule of rates. It is also seen that the rate is revised on the basis of 2012 schedule and the Board has

decided to contribute 100% of the estimate rate. The present
estimate is of ₹15,70,000/-. We, therefore, grant sanction as
sought for and the expenditure will be subject to audit.
