This is a suo-motu action based on the report of the learned Ombudsman, viz. TDB Report No.104/2013. Two aspects have been pointed out in the report. Firstly, it is pointed out that the Annadanam Hall at Pampa is being used for running a Government Hospital which has to be shifted. The second aspect is regarding the location of mobile towers in various buildings which is causing leakage of water from the towers to rooms below the towers.

We heard learned Standing Counsel for the Board and the learned Government Pleader. Learned Government Pleader has produced before us a letter dated 20.11.2013 of the Director of Health Services stating that the Government Dispensary, Pampa has been completely shifted from Annadanam Complex to the newly constructed building on 13.11.2013 and the hospital is functioning in full strength from 16.11.2013 onwards in the new building. We record the same.

Regarding the mobile towers, we direct the Travancore Devaswom

Board to get technical opinion with regard to the recommendation made by the learned Ombudsman and the Board will also explore the possibility of having a single tower for the different mobile companies. Lastly, regarding the leakage of room where Kanikka is being counted at Sannidhanam, the same also will be attended, if not already done.

The D.B.P. is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
