The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.2021 of 2013 of North Parur Police Station, who is alleged to have been committed offence punishable under Sections 365 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code. Initially, a crime was registered under Section 52 of the Kerala Police Act and later on prosecution of the victim Section 365 and 354 IPC were incorporated. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Section 376 was also added.
