JUDGMENT

The petitioners who are working as Anganwadi helpers

were subsequently promoted as per Ext. P1 order bearing No. B 66/08 dated 02.07.2008 passed by the third respondent. But the said order was not given effect to by the respondents

1 and 2, which made them to approach this Court for appropriate relief.

When the matter came up for consideration on

08.08.2008, the following interim order was passed :

“Admit. Standing counsel takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. Learned Government Pleader takes notice for the third respondent.

There will be an interim order as prayed for, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to forthwith permit the petitioners to join duty pursuant to Ext. P1 order”

No counter affidavit has been filed from the part of the respondents, despite pendency of the matter for more than four years.
