J U D G M E N T
The petitioner was aggrieved by not being
considered for the post - doctoral award which according to him was awarded in favour of Respondents 4 and 5 by a Committee which consisted only of a single Member. The petitioner was also considered for the said award but the aforesaid single Member did not recommend his name resulting in him not being given such award.

the petitioner, there is a Committee which decides the post doctoral award and he is still entitled to apply for such an award before the said Committee.

(i) The petitioner shall submit a representation to
the UGC along with a copy of representation dated 14.8.2004 afresh within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
(ii) The Expert Committee constituted by UGC in
terms of Ext.P4 shall consider the said representation of the petitioner and shall pass appropriate orders as early as possible.
