The only relief sought for by the senior counsel

Shri.Grashious Kuriakose who appears for the petitioner is for a direction to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Thalassery to consider and pass final orders on an application filed in O.P(MV) No:430/1998 seeking release of the amount remaining in fixed deposit. Having heard the counsel who has narrated the circumstances under which the relief is sought, I am satisfied that the said limited relief can be granted.

This writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Thalassery to consider and dispose of the petition filed by the writ petitioner and other claimants in O.P(MV)430/1998, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate before the Court closes for onam vacation.
