The petitioner filed O.P.No.1194 of 2011 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram against the respondent for divorce under Section 13(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act. The prayer in this Original Petition is to direct the Family Court to dispose of O.P.No.1194 of 2011 expeditiously. It is stated that the respondent is trying to drag the petition without making proper appearance and filing counter affidavit.

Though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance.

In the facts and circumstances, the Original Petition (Family Court) is disposed of directing the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram to dispose of O.P.No.1194 of 2011, as expeditiously as possible, after completing the steps in the case.
