The petitioner filed O.P.(Div.) No.1814 of 2011 before the Family Court, Ernakulam against the respondent for divorce under 13(1)(i) and 13(1)(i-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act. The case was transferred to the Family Court, Muvattupuzha, where it was numbered as O.P. (Div.) No. 436 of 2012.

The prayer in the original petition is to issue a direction to

the Family Court, Muvattupuzha to dispose of the case (O.P. (Div.) No. 436 of 2012) at the earliest. Learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that notice is not served on the first respondent by the Family Court, Muvattupuzha. It is not disputed that the first respondent entered appearance before the Family

Court, Ernakulam. That appearance is enough for the first respondent before the Family Court, Muvattupuzha. It is not necessary to issue notice to the respondent again.
