The petitioner is the first accused in Crime No.1238/2012 of Peroorkada Police Station for having committed the offences punishable under Section 420 r/w 34 of IPC. Allegation is that the petitioner along with other accused persons collected amounts from various persons promising to pledge house, etc. and later went back from their promise. Claiming to be innocent, the petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail.
