JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to be given to the respondent for issuance of salary certificate of the petitioner as sought for in Ext. P2 application.

The application preferred by the petitioner was earlier rejected by the respondent Board by issuing Ext. P3 stating that the certificate sought for by the petitioner can never be issued in view of the 'net pay' available to the petitioner. The petitioner has filed I.A. No. 17110 of 2011, producing a copy of the communication issued by the respondent Board on 22.09.2011 as Ext. P6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the pay of the petitioner has been substantially increased as borne by Ext. P6 and that the only hurdle in issuing the certificate as pointed out therein is pendency of the present Writ Petition.

Heard the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Board as well.

Considering the facts and circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to reconsider Ext. P2 application

preferred by the petitioner for issuance of salary certificate, with reference to the contents of Ext. P6 communication dated 22.09.2011 issued by the Board as aforesaid.
