In these writ petitions the prayer sought for is a direction to dispose of the applications filed by the respective petitioners under Section 85(8) of the Kerala Land Reforms (Amendment) Act,2005 (in short 'the Act').

Insofar as W.P.(C)s.8764 /2011 & 8765/2011 are concerned, on instructions, the learned Government Pleader submits that the applications filed by the petitioners therein under Section 85(8) of the Act, have been disposed of by the Taluk Land Board by orders dated 2.7.2010 and 24.3.2011 respectively. Insofar as W.P.(C) s.8766/2011 & 8768/2011 are concerned, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the orders have been passed on the applications filed by the petitioners herein under Section 85(8) of the Act.

In the above view of the matter, the writ petitions are disposed of leaving it open to the petitioners to work out their remedies before other appropriate forum.
