The petitioner is conducting a Furniture Manufacturing Unit. He was issued Ext.P2 No Objection Certificate which is valid till 16.4.2012. It is stated that he wants to shift his unit to a new building and therefore made an application for a No Objection Certificate from the Forest Department. Complaining of delay on the part of the forest department in considering and passing orders on application for No Objection Certificate, this writ petition has been filed seeking a direction for issuance of No Objection Certificate.

The learned Government Pleader has obtained instructions in the matter. According to him, State Level Committee has already considered petitioner's application in its meeting held on 20.12.2010. It is stated that they are awaiting concurrence of the Central Committee for passing final orders in the matter. It is undertaken that such final orders will be passed within two months and that the same will be communicated to

the petitioner.

Now that this submission has been made as above, all that is necessary is to record the submission and direct that orders shall be passed on the application of the petitioner and the decision be communicated as undertaken before this court.
