J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court with the

following prayers:

i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other order, writ or direction directing the respondent to declare the probation of the petitioner in the cadre of Lecturer in Anthropology/Sociology as she has cleared the Executive Officers Accountant Test within the period of 2 years of probation.

ii) issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or order, direction directing the respondent to consider Ext.P4 and P5 representation submitted by the petitioner to declare her probation in the category of Lecturer in Anthropology/Sociology and to pass appropriate orders declaring the probation certificates issued by the Kerala Public Service Commission;

iii) pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems, fit, proper and necessary in the circumstances of the case”.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P5 within a reasonable time.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

In the above facts and circumstance, this court does not find it necessary to go into the facts and figures. The respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5, in accordance with law, of course, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the respondent for taking further steps.
