An identical question such as the one involved in the instant
writ appeal was raised in W.A.No.1658 of 2010 preferred by the State of Kerala. The said writ appeal was dismissed as not pressed in view of certain clarifications issued by the State that the impugned amendment to the Kerala Land Assignment Rules, 1964 is prospective in operation. In view of the said position, we do not see any merit in this writ appeal and the same is dismissed
