This appeal by the requisitioning authority – Inland

¶25

Waterways Authority of India pertains to acquisition of land in Chavara Village. We notice that under the impugned judgment the enhancement granted is reasonable i.e. just 60% over what has been awarded by the Land Acquisition Officer. We find that enhancement up to the above rate has been approved by this court in other appeals.

Hence, this appeal will stand dismissed in limine. But, we make it clear that in case claimants/respondents prefer appeals, it will be open to the appellant to resist that appeal on the various grounds raised in this appeal.
