Notice to the first respondent is dispensed with in view of the order I propose to pass. Public prosecutor takes notice for respondent No.2.

Petitioner is accused in C.C.No.91 of 2011 of the court of learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-III, Thrissur facing trial for offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Petitioner seeks a direction for an early disposal of the case. Learned counsel submitted that the case was originally filed in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thrissur as S.T. No.1428 of 2007 and it was made over to the court of learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-III, Thrissur where the case was renumbered as C.C. No.91 of 2011. As seen from Annexure-2 petitioner has got employment in the United States and intends to go abroad. Hence he wants an early disposal of the case. Petitioner has justifiable reason for seeking an early disposal of the case. Hence learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-III, Thrissur is directed to dispose of C.C. No.91 of 2011 (if there is no legal impediment in doing so) as early as possible
