Petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The petitioner is the second accused in Crime No.138/2011 of Kodenchery Police Station for offences under Section 420 IPC and under Section 3, 4 and 5 of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act, 1978. Having heard either side, I find that it would be just and appropriate

to release the petitioner on bail in the event of arrest on the following conditions :-

The petitioner shall deposit Rs10,000/-

¶27

before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Thamarasseri.

¶28

He shall report before the investigating officer within one week for the purpose of interrogation. After interrogation, the petitioner shall be released on bail, provided he produced documents pertaining to

the deposit as mentioned above, on executing a bond of Rs.25,000/- with two solvent sureties each for the

like amount to the satisfaction of the investigating officer.

The petitioner shall report before the investigating officer at 10.00 AM on every Tuesday for a period of 2 weeks within which period the petitioner shall apply for regular bail, failing which,

the petitioner shall be arrested and produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court - II, Thamarasseri.
