JUDGMENT
The petitioner had applied for the grant of a regular permit on the route Kothamangalam-Palakkad. The said permit has been granted as per Ext.P1 decision of the RTA at its meeting held on 17.1.2007. Thereafter the timing conference was scheduled for the settlement of his timings. However, the petitioner did not appear or participate in the timing conference. Therefore, the same was adjourned indefinitely. According to the petitioner his nonparticipation was due to unavoidable problems which were intimated to the second respondent also. Now the petitioner has purchased a brand new vehicle with registration KL-2/P-9764. He has also submitted an application for the replacement of his vehicle. He complains that no orders have been passed on his applications till date. Therefore, he seeks appropriate directions for the disposal of his applications on an early date. The Govt. Pleader has no objection to such directions being issued.

17.1.2007, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Appropriate orders shall be passed on the application of the petitioner for replacement of his vehicle also which is pending.
