JUDGMENT
Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for a
direction to entrust the investigation of Crime No.170/2004 of Kanjirappally Police
Station to a special team of Police, contending that no worthwhile investigation is being conducted. Detective Inspector who investigated the case filed a statement disclosing that 74 witnesses were questioned including neighbours, relatives and friends and based on the investigation nothing could be collected to show that death of Shiny was homicide and evidence collected shows that her death was an accidental death. No other material was

placed warranting entrustment of the
investigation to a special team of Police as
sought for.
Petition is dismissed.
