The petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:
“i) issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding respondents 2 to 5 to render adequate and sufficient police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner, that of the members of his family, both while being and home and outside the home, against the apprehended threat to the life and liberty in the hands of respondents 6 to 14 and their henchmen and supporters.
ii) issue an appropriate direction to respondents 2 to 5 to closely observe the movements of the persons from other places who visits the Valappadu Police Station area.”
