J U D G M E N T
All that the petitioners seek is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exhibits P6 and P7 applications for assignment under the Kannan Devan Hills (Resumption of Lands) Rules 1971 in respect of their holdings. The petitioners are relying upon Exhibit P3 Government Order dated 20.11.2008 wherein there was a decision to distribute land to landless persons the details of which are mentioned in Exhibit P3 itself.
