We have heard the learned counsel for the appellant and also the learned Government Pleader. An extent of 0.5204 hectors of the appellant's property was acquired by the 1st respondent for establishment of Industrial Growth center at Valiyavelicham as per 4(1) Notification dated 26/5/1995. The Land Acquisition Officer fixed the land value at Rs.245/- per cent. The Sub Court has enhanced the compensation from Rs.245/- per cent to Rs.1,000/- per cent. According to the learned counsel for the appellant the court below ought to have refixed the land value at Rs.10,000/- per cent.
